MCAS (My child at school) Information
Phoenix Academy have moved across to MCAS from September 2024. This will allow parents/carers to see up to date information relating to their child’s attendance, pay for school meals and trips etc.
Once any new pupils are set up on our internal systems, parents/carers will receive an email confirming that their MCAS account has been created. The parents/carers are then required to login to the MCAS Account and change the password to something more memorable to them.
There is a Parent Guide here for you to look through if you require further assistance with setting up access to your account.
The guide provides information on all aspects of the MCAS account, but you will not necessarily have access to all that it offers. This is because at Phoenix Academy we have a separate way that we log some of our data and therefore ‘behaviour’ will not be available via the MCAS account etc.
Please contact the school office if you are having any difficulties that are not covered in the parent guide, and we will do our best to support you.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This may help
This may help site has been developed to help parents/carers with a range of advice relating to mental health issues through short films.
The mental health advice in these films is practical and there are things you can do that can help to improve the situation you may be in.
This May Help is an initiative sponsored by Healthy Minds (run by Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership).
The films were developed by parents, carers and service users who got together to share their own experiences. They spoke to experts by experience, service and ex-service users, community mental health nurses, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) doctors and qualified professionals to work out the best and most helpful practical advice possible.
